com. This is Bill Landis alone in my hotel room in New York City where I have been for the last few days covering the Big Ten

tournament. This will be a basketball only episode, a shorter episode I think too. I think I

got a handful of questions mostly and that's what I want to get to but I did want to talk about Ohio State basketball after Friday night

The Buckeyes come to New York come to Madison Square Garden

Big 10 quarter-final game against Penn State and they lost 69 to 68.

It was a good game. It was a cool environment. I know none of that matters to you Ohio State fan. You were just

angry that Ohio State lost and I get that. Third time obviously Ohio State's lost

to Penn State this year. There's some stuff they get into on that and I got a couple questions about it.

But I think, you know, it was certainly the best Ohio State has played against Penn State

this year. The first game in Columbus was a bad first half from Ohio State, a good second half and they lost on a buzzer beater.

The second game, they got their butts kicked in State college. It was either their worst or second worst

game of the year depending on how you want to look at it. They lost two Gonzaga by a

larger margin but that was also back in November when this team had not yet

shown us what it is capable of and then after seeing what it did in January and Big Ten

play for basically the bulk of January of Big Ten play to come back

and lose that way on the road at a place like Penn State that is not a particularly intimidating road venue.

That was troublesome.

And then it turned out it wasn't a random thing.

Penn State, as we've said all years,

a very tough matchup for Ohio State and they

beat them for a third time. It is a rare thing. I know people always say, it was really hard to
