Welcome back to Buckeye Talk. This is Bill Landis of Cleveland.com sitting in a car in a parking lot in Boise Idaho because that's the most quiet place I could find

to record a new version of our Ohio State podcast talking Ohio State basketball in

the NCAA tournament. Obviously Ohio State basketball in the NCAA tournament. Obviously Ohio State won on

Thursday its first round game against South Dakota State. Buckeyes won

81 73 avoided 12-5 upset. So number 5, Ohio State moves on to the second round. They'll play Saturday

night against number 4, Gonzaga. Should tip about 745 Eastern time. It'll tip a half hour after the other game

that's going on here on Saturday. It's Kentucky against Buffalo.

That game tips at 515 Eastern.

So if everything goes smoothly there, Ohio State and Gonzaga should be tipping off

at about 745, maybe a little bit closer to 8 depending on how that goes.

The game will be on CBS and Ohio State will be I guess looking for some revenge for a

27 point loss that they incurred or it incurred against the Gonzaga back in November at the

PK80 Invitational on Portland, Oregon, Ohio State's most lopsided loss of the year. The Penn State loss at Penn State I think was

23 points, but the loss in Gonzaga 27 points was Ohio State's most lopside at loss of the year and that's the

team that the Buckeyes will play on Saturday for a chance to play for a spot in

the Sweet 16. Winner of that game advances to the regional semifinals of the West region next Thursday at Staple Center in Los Angeles.

So maybe you'll be getting some more west.
