It's not too often that we can get the whole Hodincky editorial team in one place at one time,

but last week we were able to wrangle almost everyone into the studio to talk about what lies ahead at Basel World 2019.

It's hard to believe it's that time of year again,

but in just a matter of days,

we'll get to see the latest releases

from literally hundreds of watch brands,

including the likes of Rolex, Tudor, Potectady, Grand Seco, Brightling, and a whole lot more.

That said, this year's show is going to be a bit different.

For one, Swatch Group is out, which means no omega, no brigade, and no blancpum.

And overall, the show is down to 500 exhibitors from over 1500 just a few years ago.

Most of us here at the dink usually go into Basel World with a pretty good idea of what to expect.

This year though, all I know is that it's going to be a different game altogether.

We'll go over all of this in greater detail, along with the team's highlights from last year's Basel World, the

watches we'd all love to see this year, and our favorite places to grab dinner and

drinks after a day at the fair. Plus we're going to welcome a new Hodinck

editor to the show, but I'll let him introduce himself.
