Welcome everyone to another edition of more than a white man's game a baseball

podcast on the House of El Network. I'm your host Maddie Lee and today we're

bringing back on. I think this might be our first set of repeat guests. We're

gonna have Eugene McIntosh and Terrence Tomlin co-founders of the Biggs media

back on to reflect on this season. I had them on at the beginning of the season

to kind of preview the year and promise you then that we'd have them on at the

end. Get my promise. They were so kind to come on and do this with me in the

middle of you know still baseball playoffs going on but the end of the road

for first the Cubs and then the White Sox. It's been a hectic last couple

weeks covering the White Sox playoff push. I've been covering the White Sox

Terrence has always been covering the White Sox and Eugene came on as well. For

those of you who don't follow me in terms of my writing for NBC Sports

Chicago I had started the season covering the Cubs and I spent last season

covering the Cubs but after their big trade deadline overhaul a little while

after that they moved me over to strengthen our White Sox coverage really beefed

up right so that we had multiple people on it got to work with the wonderful

Vinny Dubber who has been there for years and was just such a pleasure but also

a wild ride for me switching beats in the middle of the year and coming on for

the last several weeks of a team that's been talking about their playoff

aspirations and their World Series aspirations really obviously they didn't

make it there but they'd had high hopes for that since spring training so it's

been a wild ride and taking the last couple days to kind of digest that and
