Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson.

Back in Starkville after an eventful weekend in Houston, it's a grind man, it really is.

It's not like the typical weekend, right? I mean, because like you go to a road series and you get three games against the same team.

It's a much different dynamic when you have these round-robin events. You know, you've got a lot of previews. You've got to write. You've got a lot of coaches you've got to talk to. And so we did our best to ramp up our coverage this weekend to kind of give you unprecedented access to what was going on. The games did not go the way we had hoped they would go. Difficult week for Mississippi State. We're going to kind of break that down, kind of look ahead.

We'll talk some basketball too. I owe you guys a show that I'll make it up to you at some point.

The reason I didn't record is stay with my sister-in-law and I got a chance to kind of hang with my nephews, my twin

nephews, who were now 13. And so I just, I didn't feel right about it. You know, it's like,

hey, the few hours that I'm there a day, I didn't want to allocate time because I get to see those

guys like once every couple years. And so that's kind of how things went.

So I apologize for those of you that were disappointed.

I got several messages about it, but I'll make it up to you at some point.

This week's going to be difficult.

Matter of fact, on Wednesday, I'm going to do my best to get the show.

We may even record it Tuesday night.

We'll get to show up for you on Wednesday pretty early

because I got to head south speaking at my high school on Thursday.

Pretty jacked about that.

And then we'll have home series.

So four home games this week, and we need to win all four of them.

I've got some things to say. I've got some things that I think we should change. I give you my honest opinion about that. There's some things that are good, some things that are not so good. And anytime that we go two and two in a week, we kind of get a little bit, we go one in three in a week, we get really upset. And so that's where we are we all want Mississippi

State to win I say we all do the much over the majority of us do some people

revel in misery so they're really happy right now so we're gonna get into that
