It's another episode of bars where I break down excerpts from books that I read, hip-hop music that I listen to.

Sometimes it's not hip-hop. Most of the time it is, though.

I really enjoy when people who haven't heard of artists or even haven't listened to hip hop,

tell me that I put them up on it that makes me happy.

So today I'm going to be breaking down an excerpt from a book.

And it was, I have my phone out right now because I sent a text message to my son

right after he lost a match, wrestling match.

My son is a wrestler.

He's 14 years old.

He's a beast too.

And I'm really proud of him.

But he lost in his match.

And I sent him some.

And I want to explain it's really, really powerful, very powerful, and it's very simple.

But at the same time, I feel like it's something that's so simple, we almost don't get it.

You know what I mean?

Because it hit me so hard and it still hits me hard every day that I read it.

And it's from a book that I keep by my bedside.

So it's from Sun Tzu, the Art of War.
