It's where I break down an excerpt from a book, from a song, from an interview, something that I felt stood out to me. And I want to break down for you and give you my take on it so you can extract some value from it. So today is a bar, if you will, from a classic book, The Art of War by Sun Tzu,

ancient military strategy.

I'm sure you guys have heard of it.

And if you haven't read it, please do.

If I were you, I wouldn't question too much classics.

Like if something's really stood the test of time, there's got to be something to it.

And you owe it to yourself to at least look into it and read it.

Now, if you read it and you find there's just no bars for you, I mean, let me know if that's the case for Art of War because there are so many Jewel's

just sprinkled throughout this book.

It's very, very dense and you'll want to read it over and over again.

As a matter of fact, I have like two or three different interpretations of it.

Is that powerful?

So let me read you a quote. I want to a piece from this book

and I want to explain the importance of it. All right. So he says this, now an army may be likened to

water for just as flowing water avoids the heights and hastens to the lowlands, so an army

avoids strengths and strikes weakness.

And as water shapes its flow in accordance with the ground,

so an army manages its victory in accordance with the situation of the enemy.

And as water has no constant form, there are in war no constant conditions thus one able to gain

the victory by modifying his tactics in accordance with the enemy situation may be said to be divine

this is powerful so listen the reason why this stuck out to me is because you know in sports as in

business and for me business is really my sport but it was no different you know when i was playing
