So it's very, very powerful, super practical. So let's get right to the point. I want to read it.

He says this. On Friday night, the local high school team had played an important football game.

As expected, the stands were full

and there was the usual excitement leading up to the kickoff. But as the game progressed,

something was missing. No one was cheering. In fact, no one seemed to be paying attention to the

game at all. The only sound from the stands was the dull hum of conversation. What was

happening? The scoreboard had blown down during the hurricane and had not yet been repaired. The fans

couldn't see any numbers. No one can tell you what the score was, what down it was, or even how much time was left.

There was a game going on, but it was like no one even knew.

This story really caught our attention.

If you have, it's likely your team is missing the same critical element that affected the

fans at the game. There was no clear and compelling scoreboard. Great teams and great high

performers know at every moment whether or not they are winning.

They must know.

Otherwise, they don't know what they have to do in order to win the game.

A compelling scoreboard tells you where you are and where you should be, information is essential to problem solving and decision making.

If things are not captured on a visual scoreboard and updated regularly, they will disappear
