I don't know if I've done anything outside of that. But I'm a big hip-hop fan. I started listening to rap, probably when I was like, probably earlier than third grade really passively but

actively third fourth grade started buying singles from the CD store for you youngsters

CDs are those discs that we used to put into a CD player and I'm also familiar with tapes

because I used to listen to tapes even before CDs.

So I don't think third and fourth grade I was listening to CDs.

That was more so tapes.

CDs came a little later.

Cassette tapes.

I remember I used to want to memorize the lyrics.

So I would put the tape in there and press play.

Stop, rewind, write down the lyrics. Press play press play stop rewind write down the lyrics press play again stop rewind

also we would record music off of the radio that I was back before you know of course iTunes

but anyway I love hip hop and one of my favorite artists growing up was DJ Quick um I can't

remember what album I think it was rhythmalism uh when I favorite artists growing up was DJ Quick. I can't remember what album.

I think it was Rhythmalism when I first fell in love with DJ Quick, man.

I loved his sound, loved how musical he was.

And in high school, I had a group of friends, and one of my friends was also really into DJ

Quick.

And I remember buying this album, I think I was like a sophomore

junior in high school going to Sam Goody in the mall. That was back when you had to go to the

mall to buy a CD and ripping the plastic off of the CD and playing this. It was so hot, man.

And this was the first track off of the album.
