We are doing well. Are you buying these reports from

Adam Schefter that came out yesterday afternoon slash evening that don't get so

tied up in Ben Johnson coming to Washington. That's not a done deal yet. He also threw Dan Quinn in there as far as their ties to Seattle and or Washington jobs. What do you make of that report? What are you hearing is the latest in the

commander's coaching search?

Well, I mean, I think we've all learned that if Schefter is reporting it, it's not out of thin air, right?

So there's got to be something to it.

I have to say, though, you know, so much has lined up about this to be Ben Johnson not just because of Ben Johnson but

and who he is and what he's accomplished and all that but it just seems to me that

you know if you're Adam Peters and you're Josh

Harrison you have the second pick in the draft and that second pick in the draft is

going to be a quarterback you you you almost have to hire an offensive-minded head coach because even if Dan Quinn

comes in here and says, you know, this person is going to be my offensive coordinator

if that offensive coordinator has success with the second pick in the draft

they're almost certainly going to be hired away within a year or two of developing that quarterback.

Whereas if you hire Ben Johnson and you make him a head coach for the first time and he helps develop

that that quarterback into you know a franchise pillar that it has to be then

he's not going anywhere he's staying right where he's at and he's and his career is in

lockstep with that quarterback so I don't doubt the veracity of Schefter's reporting
