into removing barriers to effective praying. I know as I've looked at my own life and

looked at seasons when I've really been thriving in my prayer life.

It's usually because I had been very purposeful about removing anything and everything

that would stand in the way from my relationship with Jesus Christ, really being in a healthy and thriving place.

A lot of times we think about intimacy with Christ is something that kind of comes and goes,

it goes up and down depending on our life circumstances and our moods and our emotions.

But actually it is possible, in fact it is God's desire to have a constancy and a consistency

in our relationship with him.

Scripture says that we are never to be lacking in zeal,

but to keep our spiritual fervor serving the Lord,

which means a constant spiritual passion,
