Summary

In 2013, Officer Jason Ellis lived out his life as if it was any other. He was a family man, with a wife and two young sons - one of which was special needs. He was a local hero, having played baseball for the Cincinnati Reds minor league system, and given up his baseball goals to support a family in Bardstown, Kentucky: what one magazine infamously proclaimed "America's Most Beautiful Small Town." However, one evening would see the lives of everyone around his forever changed, and create a mystery that has marred the image of a legendary town.

Part one of two.
