In this episode, a man returns home and works through an existential crisis in director Alejandro

G. Iniaritu's comedic drama, Bardo, False Chronicle of a handful of truths.

The film follows a renowned Mexican journalist and documentary filmmaker, who is compelled

to return to his native country, unaware that this simple trip will force him to grapple with

intimate questions about identity, mortality, Mexican history, and what it means to be human

in these peculiar times.

In addition to Bardo, Inioritu's directorial credits include the DGA Award-winning feature films,

The Revenant, and Birdman, or the unexpected virtue of ignorance, and the DGA Award-nominated

film, Babel. In 2012, he received the DGA Award-nominated film Babel.

In 2012, he received the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials for his Procter & Gamble Spot, Best Job.

Iniaritu spoke with director Rodrigo Garcia about filming Bardo,
