Okay, so I have spent, unlike most people, not my day in front of a TV set watching the

spectacle that was the former president getting indicted in surrendering for the arrangement,

which we'll get to in a second, but I thought this was ironic. I got home just to have to

suit, put on to the workout clothes, took the dogs for a walk, came back, and before I texted

Gary, I'm checking my emails. And the first email I get is from, I'm not going to say who

it was, but it was from a mediation company where I was all day. And the mediation company

was notifying all attendees of the mediation today that their lettuce was contaminated in

the catered spots. Literally a mediation center where everybody's there to resolve their

disputes and they served a lunch that was contaminated. Wow. Just texting the client,

the co-tounsel and everybody else, how do you feel? I didn't notice anything wrong. That's

just so precious. Anyway, my mediator was an ex-federal judge. And so I wanted to get his

take on this. A very well respected one of the premier guys who's got a storied career.

And there's now one of the premier mediators in the country, obviously. I wanted his reaction

to the indictment. It comes, you know, even though we're doing a mediation, you still have

downtime for those who've never done a mediation. It's kind of shuttle diplomacy from room to room.

And when he leaves a room with the other side, you may see him in the hallway and you shoot the

the proverbial shit. And we were talking about it. And I said, correct me if I'm wrong, because I know

how I'm supposed to react to this. But as a criminal defense lawyer, some of you who's done

their share of criminal defense in 40 years, my reaction at least was I cannot believe that this

is the indictment that they brought against the first former president of the United States

to be charged criminally accepted unless he's all grants, as grants, speeding on a horse ticket
