Seat so to speak in the courtroom because his client was set to go on trial on

Monday the 23rd as we're taking this to 22nd. We're two days removed from

his client basically getting a sweetheart deal to plead under the First Defender Act and

no jail time and stipulation that it's not moral turpitude which is an amazing deal and fortunate enough to get him to spend his

Sunday morning with us today but first let me show or Gary is going to show us a clip from the courtroom so you can see why it was that I thought it would be interesting to all of us to have this discussion.

Yeah, absolutely. And just to point it out for the listeners, his client was Kenneth

Chesbro, who just got his deal in Georgia, and let's see some of the court proceedings

that preceded this.

Your Honor, I'm not trying to oversimplify this because it is a complicated case both

factually and procedurally.

However, as to the 19, your honor, there's not going to be. There can't be a trial of 19 people and it has nothing to do with the length of time.

It has to do with the fact that two defendants exercise their statutory right to a speedy trial and 17 other defendants, many of whom lawyers are here didn't.

And that's our right to do and that's their right to do. So with all the respect, Your Honor, I don't even know that there's truly a reason to spend much time,
