Yet important news stories and firstly it couldn't last me with news for Wigan.

Yes it looks as if there have been some bits over the course of the past few days.

I picked up something from a Malaysian newspaper which somehow ended up in my inbox and it

was saying that there was an a proof there was an a bid coming through from there but we've

also heard over the course of the last 24 hours that there has been a bar rain bid and this

is coming from Alan Nixon who's a pretty respected journalist where he seems to think that

the price has been agreed with the administrators first of all so if that is the case it's

now down to the EFL to give the final thumbs up or thumbs down if that is the case.

Excellent and just the fact that the administrators have agreed the price mean that that's almost

a certain to the EFL giving it the thumbs up.

Not necessarily the administrators brief is to sell the club to the highest bidder.

Now if they thought that the bidder was a potential tyre kicker or is unlikely to be approved

by the EFL I suspect they would stop negotiations.

It's not guaranteed if this consortium has been put together they've got to be able to

show that they can fund the club for the next two years but as we know with prior experience

at Wigan being able to fund the club for two years isn't the same as actually funding

the club for two years in terms of the shenanigans with Mr. Ow Young who decided within

a couple of weeks that he was not going to honour his word.
