Evie Solheim is here in studio. Evie is the creator and writer of the Girl's Guide and also a writer

for EVEy Magazine. Eve, thanks so much for being here. Thank you for having me, and I feel like I

always have to disclaim Evie Magazine is not named after you. I know, I was going to ask. I simply found them because people kept sending me their links saying

it's your name. And I finally was like, you know what? I think I have more in common with this publication

than my name. So big fans of them. But yeah, thank you for having me. Well, this is going to be

really fun. You

recently became a mom. We're going to talk a little bit about your story here in a minute.

What has been maybe the biggest surprise, something that no one told you about motherhood?

I think it's that you want to be with your child all the time.

Oh.

So I think I'm a little extreme and how long I even waited to kind of cut the apron strings, if you will, and like even go to the grocery store without her, like things like that.

But so my husband and I just had our first date night on Friday.

Oh, fun.

After eight months.

Yeah, Sam's kid.

And we, like, the eight months went by so fast.

We had a really good time, but at the end of it, we were, like, looking at pictures of her.
