Hey, Markham, before we get to the letters this week, we got to talk about Tim Duncan and the Spurs because they're gone.

They're gone.

They got upset by the thunder, and not only they get upset, but they were beaten quite decisively, which kind of shocked me. Yeah, I was shocked, man. All right. So the spurs are gone. And frankly, it's fine. I'm one of those people that thinks the spurs are boring. Even if they put up like 140 points, I'm like, whatever, boring.

But they were legitimately like languid all series long, so I'm glad they're gone.

But the big issue is Tim Duncan, who probably played his last game but has not officially retired yet.

So, do you think he ought to fuck off, or do you think he ought to stick around and just hang around for a little bit?

I'd hang around if I were him.

The Spurs were one of the greatest regular season teams of all time.

They lost to a really great Thunder team.

I mean, shit happens.

I don't see why he wouldn't hang around for a year to get another shot at the Warriors.

But on the other hand, does he need it?

He's got, what, five championships?

Five titles, man.

That's pretty good.

You know, the thing is, does he really seem like a guy who has too many interests outside basketball and like carrying out elaborate rotations and cuts?

No, I don't think to be what makes him happy.

Yeah, I think there's that.

And then also he actually, he went through a very nasty divorce.

It was a private divorce.
