So I'm not going to do my usual monologue, mostly because I think any windup is A, going to fail in comparison to what Obama has to say. And B, when Obama's waiting in the wings, you just get to Obama. But I will say one thing. I feel very lucky to be able to do what I do for a living. But my ability to have an audience with President Obama is owed entirely to the fact that there are folks who are willing to give me a little bit of their attention, their trust, and their ears for a few minutes each day or each week, which is to say this interview would not have happened without those of you who tune in. |
