This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Welcome to our rosary meditation. For us, it is Friday night and about 9 o'clock. I called

some friends of ours from the neighborhood and said, why don't you come by for a glass of wine, some good conversation in the rosary, and they swung by.

We've had beautiful friendship, great conversation, and now we're going to pray the rosary together.

So we don't have to plan things a week or a month in advance, and we don't have to put out a big spread or get our houses ready

we just have to take a little initiative be spontaneous and allow the great gift from god of

friendship to enter our lives let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

We're especially offering all of our rosaries joined together

for all of the loved ones that have been submitted to our prayer list,

for their deeper conversion, and for all of their earthly needs.

As we travel through a deeper meaning on the sacraments, today we reflect on the profound

gift of our own baptism. My baptismal day is June 12th, the day I became an adopted son of God and gained heaven.

Do you know and celebrate your baptismal day?

As we've been saying in the last few days, the liturgy and the sacraments make the saving events from the life of Jesus present

so that what took place in Him can take place in us.

Well, there are two events from the life of Jesus

that are made present in our own baptism,

his own baptism at the Jordan River,

and his suffering, death, and resurrection.

So to understand our baptism, we need to understand the baptism of Jesus better.
