Are you excited for this baptism service today? I'm excited for what's about to happen now.

We're about to read our verse of the year because we've never read it outside. So come on, we've got to read it outside, but I just want to, I want to set the tone. I'm not even preaching today. We're about to get read it outside, but I just wanna, I wanna set the tone.

I'm not even preaching today, we're about to get to the baptism, but I do wanna frame the day.

And I do wanna give you some expectations for what your behavior should be today.

This is a celebration service.

This is the only metaphor I could think of.

Anybody have been to a graduation? How many

have been to a graduation lately? How many have you just graduated? Shout out. Come on.

Here's what I love about graduations. You never have to question or wonder where the family of the graduate is sitting.

Have y'all noticed this?

You never have to.

All you got to do is wait and watch.

And as soon as that graduate's name gets on the screen, just look around.

They will let you know where they are.

They'll be throwing confetti.

They'll have a bullhorn that they weren't even supposed to bring in. And they will shout. But here's the difference between that and this.

When it's a graduation ceremony, rarely do you shout for somebody else's kid. You just shout for yours.

This is a celebration today of people who have gone from death to life and because we are one big family in the body of

Christ, guess what? We shout for everybody. We're celebrating everybody's thing. I don't have to know

your name. I just have to know you're a part of this family and God brought you from death to life.

Oh come on. Some of y'all are going to struggle. This is what we got to do today. We're going to lift up
