Well, let's state the obvious.

It's Pentecost Sunday.

We were at the upper room, and my name is Peter.

If we can't have church today, guys, we just need to do something else.

We're going to have church.

I want to talk about the baptism of the Holy Spirit

this morning. If you want to open your Bibles to Acts chapter one,

Aaron's already getting hit.

Acts chapter 1, verse 4.

We're going to read just a couple, two verses, and then we'll pray.

And I'll hop in here. Acts 1, verse 4, Jesus was alive. Amen. He had been resurrected,

and he's talking with his disciples, and it says this, while he was staying with them,

he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait.

Everyone say wait for the promise of the father.

Wait for the promise of the Father which he said

you heard for me

for John baptized with water

but you will be baptized

with the Holy Spirit

not many days from now

Father we we come to you this morning in light of your promise.
