Today I am joined by Adam Francisco, Scott Keith, and Bruce Hillman. We are doing a dogmatic series on the Thinking Fellows. If you've been joining us for the last several months you've

been following along our outline here which we've been using heapers dogmatics as our outline

and then basically doing commentary on these various topics as we go on last week we did a law and gospel episode. And this week, the outline moves us into

baptism and maybe baptism in the supper, depending on how the conversation goes. We'll see if these

are one or two episodes. This has just sort of been following a move from sort of our starting material, our starting

principles to things like faith, grace, how do you receive faith, justification, sanctification.

And so these are all pieces of sort of those puzzles and those questions.

How is one justified?

How does one receive faith?

How is one sanctified?

And so we've been getting into those details. And so the means of grace then comes up. And that

brings us to baptism. We've done a lot of episodes on baptism. I think Adam sent a text saying,

are we beating a dead horse? Because

Bruce has done fewer episodes on baptism with us, but in the, what is it, seven years,

eight years? Yeah. Yeah, eight years that we've been, that sounds right, that we've been doing this,

we've, I don't know, probably done 50

episodes on baptism, especially when we used to do QA. We did Q&A episodes and basically every

other Q&A episode had another question about baptism in it. It's been our most common question

throughout the years from listeners who are not Lutheran

or have not always been Lutheran or are transitioning into Lutheranism or have remaining

questions. And so for us, it does sometimes feel like we've talked about it a lot, but
