I love that vision Sunday and generosity Sunday are linked together in proximity and in

the same space in the life of Passion City Church.

If you do not know we had vision Sunday last week, I would urge you to go to the website.

There's an easy way right when you arrive there that you can click on the box that says

vision Sunday and you can watch a powerful set of stories from our house that we shared

last week and a little bit of the glimpse of what it means for us to stretch wide our curtain

and enlarge the place of our tent.

And in next Sunday, on the 27th, we're going to celebrate generosity Sunday.

And I know for some of you, you're new to Passion City Church and for some of you, you're

new to church period and you're like, what is generosity Sunday?

I've never had one of those before in my life and maybe that's just a brand new concept

for you.

Maybe you're like me and you grew up with a church that had a thermometer on the wall every

now and then and we were raising money to redo the youth center or you know build a softball

field or go in a mission trip somewhere.

But for Passion City Church, we just want to be extraordinary in our generosity.

So there's a moment coming every year for us where we just say it doesn't matter what

I gave normally it doesn't matter what my tie this today.

I'm just going to go above and beyond all of that and setting a table of our house so that

we can be as generous as God wants us to be in the neighborhood and in the city and in

the world.

And I love that those two things are linked because in life, vision and generosity are
