Summary

Brother Sean oversees VOM’s work in South Asia. As he prepared for a recent trip to Bangladesh, word came that a pastor there had just been martyred for his Christian witness. Listen as Sean discusses his thoughts as he went to meet members of that pastor’s family and the challenges they and other families of martyrs still face each day. You’ll also be encouraged and amazed by the story of “Stephen;” he was shot in the face, stabbed and had his throat slit, but survived to continue preaching the gospel in his village! 0:00.0	You've probably heard many reports of increasing persecution in the Middle East because of
0:06.2	the rise of Islamic extremism.
0:08.9	But did you know similar kinds of persecution are happening in South Asia as well. Brother Sean overseas VOM's

0:18.7	You know, anyone who is outspoken is especially converting Muslims are going to face increasing
0:27.1	hostility and threats and you know potentially death. But this persecution
0:32.1	doesn't discourage brother Sean or are persecuted brothers and
0:36.2	sisters in Bangladesh from continuing their mission. It's always really an exciting
0:40.9	thing when you see the kind of persecution we're seeing
0:43.2	in Bangladesh right now because it means the gospel's advancing it's going forward.
0:47.6	Jesus never promised his followers an easy path. In fact he told his disciples the world would hate them. He sent them out as sheep among wolves.
