Hey everyone. This is Eagles beat reporter Chris Franklin from NJ Advanced Media, and this is your latest update from the No Huddle Show podcast.

The Eagles received some bad news on the injury front Monday.

Veteran defensive end Brandon Graham ruptured his Achilles in the second quarter of Sunday 17-11 loss to the 49ers, ending in season.

Graham led the Eagles in sacks last season with eight and was instrumental in helping stop the run by setting the edge and keeping contained, not letting running backs get outside of him to turn up the field and gain yards.

Graham's injury means that Ryan Carrigan, Josh Sweat, and rookies Milton Williams and

Tehran Jackson could act as a platoon of sorts, helping to replace Graham's production while

he undergoes surgery and begins his rehab process. The Eagles also learned that they will be without starting right guard Brandon Brooks.

Brooks also left in the second quarter and was later diagnosed with a pectoral strain.

Eagles head coach Nick Seriani said that Brooks would likely be headed to injury reserve,

but the injury was not serious enough that he would miss the rest of the season.

Landon Dickerson came in to replace Brooks on Sunday's game.

The second round draft pick from Alabama was practicing at right guard last week for the first

time since tearing his ACL when he suffered in college.
