In this episode, Sean and I will continue our series of in-depth discussions of the

epic award-winning 2001 HBO miniseries Band of Brothers.

Today, we're going to break down episode five, Crossroads for you.

So, Sean, it's this episode is, it's crossroads.

It's called Crossroads because it deals primarily with a very significant battle they had

at a literal crossroads, but it's also kind of a crossroads

for the company itself and for Dick Winters, especially for his career. Wouldn't you say?

I think the title is symbolic as well as literal.

Well, and it's bridging two specific time periods in the company's history, and that's

this episode. Most of the, you company's history and that's the this episode most of the

previous episodes were pertaining to the lead up to the actual during the battle of the

normandy campaign this episode we're finishing market garden Holland but then we're bridging into the next phase of using companies.

Yeah, and do you want to say anything ahead before?

Well, the director of the episode is a really good director.

He did this wonderful movie about a pop-in in the 1980.
