Summary
What would happen if junk food were banned? Life expectancy is dropping and more than half the world is expected to be overweight by 2035. Many say it is time to take extreme measures to stop this unhealthy trend and the millions of cases of cancers, diabetes, and heart disease that it can lead to.
Β
One of the options being considered is a ban on foods packed with sugar, fat and salt. In some parts of the world the ban is already in place. So what effect might it have?
Β
The Plant Power Doc, Dr. Gemma Newman, joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll on The Exam Room LIVE to discuss the controversial idea! Surprisingly, in some cases junk food companies are supporting such measures.
