Yeah, I literally almost just choked on a chicken tender, and so that's where I'm at today.

Why?

You were chewing too quickly or you take two big bites? Both. I was exasperated about something, and next thing you know, I was stood up and I was like, I was scary. No, it's actually very scary. I looked at my husband and he was, because he's the one who usually chokes, you know, And I looked at him and he was like, oh my God, am I going to have to give you the heimlich?

Like my eyes are still watering because I just literally choked.

literally choked. But we're good. We're good. And ex of mine saved my friend's life on the beach

because shrimp, she chewed it too much and she literally was choking on the beach. It's insane.

It's terrifying. Okay, so you're in Atlanta and yes, I in Florida so we're both southern girls now I guess but it is true it's

weird like that you could be while it's good that you could be anywhere it's also weird because you

never know what you're supposed to be connected to and we used to know that like you live here

and you travel to go there you have to travel to go there to see that person to do that thing yeah

and now everybody's sort of like wandering and at a certain age, which I'm older than you, you're just like, once your kids go, you really don't know where you're supposed to be connected to. Yeah. And I loved L.A. I loved living in New York. But I have this theory, like you have to, especially in our industry, and especially doing comedy, you have to leave L.A. at some point and then they call you back Every actor always says, the minute you book a vacation, you book a job. The minute you book a vacation, they call you back for, like, a producer's round of an audition. It's just, that's how the game goes. And during COVID, I was living up in New York and the city. My husband's from New York, and we came down to Atlanta and, you know, bunked up with family for a minute. And he was like, this is great.

Like, he's like, what are we doing? I'm on the road. I see America. I'm on the road, you know, 100 nights a year doing shows. So for me, to be able to come back to a place that I feel grounded in, I'm still best friends with my friends from kindergarten. Like I have my core four girlfriends.

I've got parents to their children.

You know, it's just, it's wonderful.

I love being in Atlanta. with my friends from kindergarten. Like, I have my core four girlfriends.

I got parents to their children, you know? It's just, it's wonderful. I love being in Atlanta. So it's nice to come home to normal safe. Well, that's another thing, too. Like, people are constantly having the dialogue about where they want to live and where they like to live. And is that better than this? And is it Palm Beach or Miami or L.A. or New York. The thing is, you could live in a place that may not even be your favorite place, but it's your favorite base. Right. It's your favorite base. It's like the favorite place to like nest while you

plan to go on this trip there and have that fun there or come home to. Because you may love New York,

but that doesn't mean you want it to be your base.

That's not where you want to land on the plane when you're exhausted and you want to like nest. So it's interesting that it's different where your favorite place is and having a good base. And I feel Florida for me is my favorite base. Well, and I love that for you. I mean, my favorite base would be Florence, Italy, you know? Like I always sold my husband. and we just bought a house and we're doing the big move.
