scrolling here this morning. David said, ideally, what would your 12-team playoff inclusion criteria be from

Grand Rapids, Michigan? David, I wouldn't have any criteria other than you better be in the

top 12. Now, you know that I wouldn't have a 12-team playoff in general if you just let me run things.

Some of you think I wouldn't expand. I don't have a problem with expanding the six.

I don't have a problem. I got a little problem past that, but I wouldn't have a problem with a six-team playoff. Twelve teams, a little bit too much for me. But nevertheless, if you told me I had to have 12, David, I would just say, okay, take the top 12. and then I would start hearing these voices, normally in the back of the room,

and yeah, but, yeah, but, what, what, okay, take the top 12. And then I would start hearing these voices, normally in the back

of the room, say, yeah, but, yeah, but, well, yeah, but, there's no yeah, but. There's no yeah, but. If you want to

argue for auto bids for conference champs, here's my retort. Do you really think there's going to be a

world where a legitimate conference champ isn't ranked

in the top 12? Think about what you're arguing there. You're arguing for auto bid inclusion.

When you and I both know, at any point in the modern era, the playoff era, any conference

champ worth its salt has been in the top 12. Most of the time they've been in the top eight or the top six but easily the top 12 if there's a conference champ that's outside the top 12 you've had such a garbage finale to your conference slate that whatever your conference produced has no business in the playoff.

And not even to mention, by the way, I mean, that's not even to mention this whole auto bid thing where two G5 teams may be in.
