Both teams are at top in the AFC North at six and six. They have had disappointing seasons. But one team from the division has to make the playoffs. And if it's not going to be the Bengals who are fighting for their way back into the talk and the conversation, it's going to be the Ravens and the Steelers. So me, myself, Kevin Ostriker, Locked on Ravens, as well as Chris Carter of Locked on Steelers, talk about keys to victory for both teams in this game and a lot more. Moving along, it is Locked on Ravens. It is locked on Steelers. Kevin Ostriker and Chris Carter still here with you on this crossover Thursday edition of the show. Chris, we know that these Ravens and Steelers games, just throw everything out the window. It doesn't matter how good you're playing, how bad you're playing, who you have on your roster, who you don't have on your roster. Anything goes when it comes to the Ravens and the Steelers. So in your mind, what are the keys, what are three keys that Pittsburgh has to deliver upon to win this game on Sunday? Well, the first key is to stop the run. If they don't stop Derek Henry, Lamar Jackson on the ground, this game is going to be over before it starts. And the Steelers know that. It's again, even without Derek Harmon, I think that this is a week where they know they get that message. And there's going to be a commitment to stopping the run. Two, get some chunk plays on offense. Just get, because I really do think, like, there's certain, the Steelers do a lot of little things well in offense. Like, they are really good at their screen game right now. They're really good at their swing passes where they get the running backs in space and they make a miss. But you've got to make defenses be scared of your deep ball again or at least your intermediate ball. And they just haven't hit on a lot of those lately. So if the Steelers are able to hit on some of those passing plays and be solid with downfield passing,

it's going to put the Ravens in a bind,

and then that's when you see the balance of the Steelers' roster sort of come into play.

But they haven't done that a lot this year.

And so that's why it's going to be an interesting challenge.

And my third key, I guess if I was to pick one, I guess I would say just let the, let the D.Bs win in saying the Steelers DPs, because I think to stop the run, especially without Derek Harmon, it's going to take an extra body. It's going to take some extra commitment.

It's going to take some efforts that's going to keep the Ravens contained. And I think that with that, you might need to live with your cornerbacks playing on islands. The seal was like Go Darius Slay, so he's not a part of that equation anymore. I'd be curious to see if Asante Samuel Jr. gets a spot over James Pierre,
