Good morning, everybody. This is day number 15 of NFL team previews here on the podcast feed.

Today is Wednesday, August 7th. Thank you very much for making me a part of your morning.

We've got an absolute doozy of an episode today. And you're going to hear how nervous I was in my voice.

I was joined by Ken McCusick, which was an absolute treat. Ravens film study has covered the team from a scouting

and player charting perspective for more than two decades. Like the depth and wealth of knowledge

that Ken has about football, but especially about the Ravens, is amazing. And it was just a treat

to talk with him. But what threw me off was I

messaged him and typically as these have gone these are very busy people working

with teams they're in the middle of training camp time is in a very short supply for

everybody and typically they'll say okay I'm, but like send me a couple questions,

send me to link, and we'll make a time work. And so I usually put together four or five questions. I send them, and then we quickly, before we come on the call, sort of established like, okay, all the questions good, you're good with it. Yep, okay, let's go, hit record, and then I do the episode. With I messaged him and it was like 430 p.m.

my time Pacific time he's like I can do it right now if you're able and so by 433 we were

recording and I was like pre-call it's like look I want to do this this and this is there anything

you don't want me to talk about? And he says, yes, we cannot

talk about this specific thing because I was just talking with Harbaugh, and I'm not allowed to disclose that publicly because it's not something that's out there in the public. And so I paused. I was like, oh, I mean, this is, this is a pretty good access. So I was like, okay, I won't go that way. And I quickly, in my mind,

for the show, a lot of the things I wanted to talk about were about that specifically. So I had to kind of go around it. Got some very good topics from Ken, where he broke them down to talk about the offense, defense, went into some Bateman stuff, some play calling stuff. It's awesome. So you're going to enjoy this one.

I thought this was a terrific preview. A lot of value to come from this as well. Before we jump into it, just want to remind everybody the NFL service is in full swing. Plenty of releases. I think

eight have gone out already this week. More expected preseason week one is a huge week for betting.
