Good morning, everybody. Today is Monday, August 22nd, and NFL team previews continue on for another week here on The Simple Handicap, looking today at the Baltimore Ravens as we get into the top 12 teams in the NFL. Each team, I actually have a really good opinion on. And I got to be honest, previews can be difficult to do because there's really every season

like eight or ten teams that I just don't care about. They're kind of priced right. There's not

a lot to say. I try to make the eight to ten minute podcast. And you can tell. You're the listener.

You've been here a couple years now probably. You know what's going on. And if it's your

first time, you can probably see when I'm excited or not. And when it comes to the Ravens,

kind of excited about this team each and every year. So again, a bet I'm making Baltimore Ravens to

make the playoffs minus 160. Bet on it. Love it. Everything about the price is fantastic. If you want to go over nine and a half

wins too, I think that that's good as well. You're going to pay a steeper price. This is a team

that is going to improve drastically on both the offensive and defensive side of the football.

And before I get into it, I just want to remind everybody that this podcast is being recorded

on Friday.

So the results of preseason week two are not known yet.

So if you came here for the win or the loss from whatever happened on the preseason week,

I'm not reacting to that, not because I'm not acknowledging it.

It's because I was away knowing that a drive back from Saskatoon on a Sunday after a weekend,

the golf, and holding a baby, probably wasn't in great shape to record a podcast bright and early on Monday morning.

The reason I'm excited to talk about the Baltimore Ravens is because from a preview

perspective, I really like talking about teams that are going to be notably different

on one side or the other or both of the football.
