with you baldie we're looking forward to tomorrow night but the news we found out yesterday with the

schedule broncos open the season in kansas city against the chiefs i personally love it from a bronco's

perspective get this game a narrowhead out of the way, play Patrick Mahomes and his first

game back. Maybe there's a little rust there. Maybe I'm being hopeful. What do you think about

this game being here? Broncos having to go on the road to start the season. Well, I mean,

the Broncos just took the chiefs off the top of the mountain last year for the first time in nine

years. And so, and they did it convincingly

on a great season. And so let's see, Mahomes missed the last six games. They've lost all six games.

It was a bad season for Kansas City. Let's see if Mahomes can get them to bounce back. But

somebody's going to be one to know with the division. And, you know, that's really important. Division games. You always kind of build your team to win in the division. And so, you know, you kind of get that out of the way. Now, it doesn't mean anything. It's only September. And September's the new August. But still, it's a chance to go one and 0 in the division against a team that hopes to bounce back this year.

Would you prefer to have an easier start to the season or easier end of the season

if you were building your own schedule?

Well, personally, as an analyst, I like seeing these division games at the end of the season

when they seem to matter a whole lot more.

And, you know, playoffs and seatings and division crowns are up for grabs.

Early to season, you can overcome anything earlier than the season, any losses early

to season.

New England proved that year in, year out when Tom Brady and Belichick were there.

Then he could get off to good starts.

But they fixed what they needed to in order to become good team. So that's the big thing is
