We don't have to be so serious as we are.

No, no, yeah, we can be.

That's why I'm being a weirdo in the opening.

I'm just like a weird guy, like many of the people in the world of Balders Gate.

It is a weird place.

Weird and wonderful.

And in Act 1, we're not even at Baldersgate, though one thing I am enjoying about it is the degree to which Baldersgate looms over the entire story.

And let me take a moment to explain what we're going to be doing here.

We're going to talk exclusively about spoilers from only Act 1 of Baldersgate 3. If you do not wish to be spoiled, save this for

later and come back to it after you are into Act 2 of the game. Otherwise, you're in the right

place. Pull up a mug at the Inn of Choice, or I suppose the Druid Grove or burgeoning campfire at the

goblin camp of choice. And let's talk a little bit about the storyline and the characters

for this game. I'm going to start us off with a little bit of a situational setup for how the game begins.

And then I'm going to have you guys talk about the characters and the companions.
