Summary

The role and power of art in self-healing, initiation, and actualization is (putting it lightly) huge. To that end, I sat down with the incredibly skilled Balazs Bercsényi and his colleague-in-healing, belief coach Kjartan Rumpsfeld. We get into the two bridge art and healing in the form of ritualistic “tattoo retreats”, how Balazs and Kjartan met, the artistic process, and how to change the transactional nature of modern art.   Balazs Bercsényi is a multidimensional tattoo artist from Pécs, Hungary, with a distinct, identifiable, and meticulous style. His artistic work is heavily influenced by ancestral practices and ritual, spirituality, sacred geometry, the occult, and sculpture. He leads the industry as an expert in single needle and fine line black and grey talisman tattoos, which have become his trademark signature for independent art projects. Informed by an apprenticeship and subsequent artistic residency in London, England, at the age of 20 and subsequent international artistic study, his work received true international acclaim and recognition in the world-renowned Bang Bang art studios in New York City, United States. Balazs demonstrates a continuing passion for traveling and tattooing around the world, and his constantly-evolving artistic aspirations and professional practice have expanded into the exploration of illustration and fashion design as new mediums to bridge the gap between ancient tradition and modern elegance.   Kjartan Rumpsfeld is a Norway-based consultant and teacher utilizing NLP, energy work, and other modalities to people weed out limiting beliefs and experience transformation and healing in their lives, from the psychological and spiritual to the professional and social. Beginning with years of training in a Utah monastery, Kjartan is committed to helping others identify and let go of anything that might be holding them back.   Connect with Balazs -Website: http://balazsbercsenyi.com/ -Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/balazsbercsenyi -Retreat: http://balazsbercsenyi.com/retreat/index   Connect with Kjartan -Website: https://www.kjartanrumpsfeld.com/ -Coaching: https://www.kjartanrumpsfeld.com/coaching Did you enjoy the podcast?
