I'm Chris Ballas with me, Doug Skeen, Michigan's five-time Big Ten champion.

And really watching the program closely here, skiing over the last couple of weeks.

And people have been asking me, what does Doug Skeen think?

And I can tell them.

But I thought, hey, screw that.

Let's talk to him and get his opinions because we've been talking about

some of this stuff. Let's be honest for months, going way back about some of the rumors and the rummings around the program. And we've been talking about what's going on on the field as well. And, you know, a lot of people say, well, you guys have a negative slant and so on and so forth. And what I always say is we're trying to be honest with you here, right?

And what we really believe.

And what we were presenting with the on the field stuff was really completely separate

from what was happening off the field, which was an embarrassment, obviously, to the university

into the program and to Sharon Moore's family, obviously fired as Michigan's head coach for an inappropriate relationship with a staffer.

There were rumblings about that for a long time.

Skeen, just off the top, your thoughts on, first of all,

you had some pretty strong opinions on this when I told you about the rumblings,

and then when you heard it, actually what happened and that it came out, what was your

reaction?

I tie it back to the football ballast.

You know, we talked about some of the frustrations and performance issues of the football

team itself, was just the football side.

And for the second year in a row, even with an outstandingly talented young quarterback,

the passing offense was horrible.
