Welcome back to another edition of the Ballison Skeen Show. This is post-Northwestern. What an event at Wrigley Field skiing. I wish you'd been there, but you don't go to games anymore. I understand that. You got the 90-inch screen TV on your yacht. So I think I'd probably do that too. But I will say this first-class event, gained another pound and a half with the food up in the press box uh they had

all kinds of bals did they have chicago dogs uh you know what they had crappy dogs on a little

roller i was that was the only disappointment it's like it looked like i was at a 7-11

they didn't have chicago hot dogs no they had they had like little crappy ones that you would get in Pittsburgh, like a dollar dog night. But regardless, every other, all the other food was good. They had these things called dibs, these little Nestle dibs, their ice cream. They had like a cooler of ice cream. So I'd frozen lemonade. I literally, it was terrible, but it was so good so diet starts today

Fakes gets fatter what are you gonna do but here we go let's talk a little bit about

this Michigan win I got a lot of heat for saying you know there it was a win but

but you know nobody likes the butts well a lot of people understand the butts but you, you've got that segment of the fan base that's like, why are you so critical after a win? And I think it's because like you, when you're breaking down the offensive line, we know what the standard is for Michigan football, right? And as you go through a season, you're supposed to be getting better. The turnovers are getting worse. It's a handful of teams that since 2000 skiing, we did some research here, I guess, that has won a game with five

turnovers.

Now, to overcome five turnovers to zero for the other team, it means you're doing some pretty good

stuff, too.

At the same time, this is not a world-meeting Northwestern team.

And when you have 496 yards of offense and you only put up 24 points, you still got some things to work on here,

bud. Well, the glaring number one stat here in all of this, we'll talk about the good stuff,

is the turnover problem. Michigan suddenly has a severe turnover problem. Two against Purdue,

five obviously against Northwestern, what we say five of them, five of the seven total in the last

two games on our young quarterback who suddenly is struggling to protect the ball in some ways.

And so that, if that doesn't get fixed, bow,

statistically speaking, we had no business beating Northwestern. And if the,

if the turnover continues, we'll struggle to beat, obviously, Maryland. And then you can

imagine what will happen against a really good team if you turn the ball over. So,

if that doesn't get fixed, then there's a world of hurt ahead.

And so that's why I think, you know, guys like you and me and other people that can take the amazing blue sunglasses off and look at this and say, okay, this is a severe problem.
