football in the same sentence. I'm sure some enterprising folks will send me tweets about that to break down

the organization's new report on player workload, which has a wealth of data on how and when players

are actually playing more on that in a few minutes, but it's a great discussion.

There is no other place to start than the NWSL

CBA. Now, first, yes, this episode is not actually about the CBA entirely, but I do want to put

a few notes here before I break down what we know about it so far. Now, I've been speaking to folks

pretty much nonstop since this deal got done, and I'm working on what is hopefully the definitive oral history

of the first CBA ever in women's pro soccer. Players have been so happy and so positive and so

proud of themselves. I cannot wait for the story to be out here. But stay tuned for that, but also

stay tuned because once the full PDF of this document actually drops, I've got an NWSL
