It's been a sobering couple of days.

We had another mass shooting this week to go along with the one the week before and

the church shooting the week before.

And if you go to even a rudimentary search of mass killings, not that they didn't exist

before, you know, before I was a kid, but they are so much more prevalent now for our kids

and our grandkids.

So violent crime is on the rise generally.

We're just coming out of a pandemic maybe or maybe we're headed back into one who knows,

but it's been the roughest stretch.

And frankly, I'm not prone to the pression, but it's all pretty depressing.

and how to help others and how to help ourselves.
