So, today I want to talk about the difference between using baking soda versus apple-side

0:26.1

of vinegar for indigestion. There's no doubt that you're going to experience results if

0:31.8

you take either or, but the question is long term what can happen. So, what I want

0:36.8

to first talk about is this idea on pH of the body. There seems to be this push to

0:45.4

alkalize the body, and I'm not sure exactly where that came from. It could be, I think

0:51.0

there's a book called Alkalizer Die, could be that, or it could be other things, but people

0:55.6

tend to associate health with being alkaline and sickness with being acid. Okay, so I just

1:03.0

want to first mention that when you're talking about alkaline or acid, you have to be specific

1:10.4

on what part of the body you're talking about, because in the stomach you need a pH between

1:16.4

one and three. This is super acidic, but when we're talking about the blood, we're talking

1:22.2

about a very narrow range between 7.35 and 7.45, 7 being neutral. So, anything greater

1:31.6

than 7 is more alkaline, and anything less than 7 is more acidic. So, you can see blood

1:38.7

is lightly alkaline. Now, when we're talking about being too acidic or too alkaline, we're

1:44.4

really talking about two different conditions. One being too acid to be acid doses, and the

1:49.9

other one too alkaline being alkalosis. Now, if you understand the symptoms for each

1:56.0

different condition, you can help to use the right remedy. So, for the symptoms of acid

2:00.5

doses, your nervous system is going to be irritated. You're going to feel nervous. You're

2:05.1

going to sigh frequently like that. You might have light or sound sensitivity. You might

2:13.6

be dehydrated. You might feel a lump in the throat when you're swallowing. You're going

2:19.3

to have a difficult time breathing in high altitudes, and there are certain conditions that

2:24.2

can make you more acid, like keto-acidosis, which is a huge confusion for many people.

2:29.3

They think being in ketosis is the same as keto-acidosis. Keto-acidosis is a really rare,
