Welcome back to the Adam Schaefter podcast as we head into week six after a week five that we thought would be substandard that had six games that had double deficit point totals wiped off the board with some of the more incredible comebacks we've seen this season.

How about the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday night overcoming a 14-point deficit to beat the Kansas

City Chiefs, 3128?

How about the Tennessee Titans overcoming an 18-point deficit to beat Arizona, 2221, or the Panthers overcoming a 17 point deficit to beat the dolphins, 2724, or the Broncos overcoming a 14 point deficit.

To beat the Eagles, 2117, or the Saints overcoming an 11 point deficit to beat the Giants, or the commander is overcoming a 10 point deficit to beat the Chargers. On and on, it went all weekend, and that's the thing about the NFL. When you think it's a substandard schedule, it comes out to be aces. That's what usually happens. So we're going to look ahead to week six, and we're going to bring in my friend, my colleague, the host of the Pat McAfee show, Ty Schmidt for this week's six-pack. I mean, you hit the nail on the head, Shephy. Great to be with you as always. This is why the NFL is the best. How many more leagues do you look at a game going into a weekend or, you know, before it starts and you say like, man, this is so one-sided.

There's no way this team's going to win, this team's going to win, this team's going to win, and then they all do, and they all do in spectacular fashion. There is no drama like the NFL, and man, it is. It just, we've said it multiple times now. it is such a week-to-week league, and that's why it's so great, because I know it's a cliche.

Any given Sunday is a real thing. It is a real thing.

And I'm just telling you, I could feel the Jaguars last night, even when they were down 14.

Because coming into it, it's Trevor Lawrence's 26th birthday.

They're at home.

It's the big Monday night stage, just like the Patriots had the big Sunday night stage the week before.

We saw all these teams announce their arrival this weekend.

The Broncos win in Philadelphia.

The Patriots win in Buffalo.

It just felt like even when they were down,

it was going to be one of those Jaguar Knights where they transformed it and turned it around,

and that's exactly what happened in the end with a big come from behind victory.

And I think that's why if you're a fan of a team who is maybe one in four right now or something like that, you don't have to throw the white towel in. You don't have to wave that flag and think, oh, the season's over. You never know what's going to happen. I mean, would it be surprising? Yeah, would it shock everyone? But who's to say the Titans aren't going to win their next 10 games and all of a sudden be, you know, the bell of the ball in the NFL? It's just, it's crazy. It's why we love it. It's why we, you know, talk about it on a daily basis. And so that was a massive story this weekend. But let's move into topic number one of this week's six-pack chefty. We've been talking about it a bunch so far, and it just keeps happening and keeps happening.
