We got to start with the one thing that got Nick and Brandon arguing all week, and that is Baker-Maker.

It was such a popular topic.

We had to go, we're leaning in, Nick. Despite an impressive

five and three record for the Browns, it has been a less impressive effort on the part of Baker

Mayfield. Looks good beating the teams he should be beating. Struggles against the teams he shouldn't

be beating. Well, it kind of did work, but it begs the question, is Baker Mayfield the future of this franchise?

Here's Brown's GM, Andrew Barry, on what he thinks of Baker's season thus far.

Where do you stand on on Baker as relates to the big questions about his future?

Yeah, definitely understand the question, even. Honestly, I really don't get too caught up in that type of narrative. You know, all I know is that I think Baker has played well and he's done a nice job during these first eight weeks. He's allowed us to play winning football. We've had winning football from that position. Expect them to keep doing that over the second half of the year.

And, you know, look, we're going to be in a good place, you know, as a team and organization,

if that's the case.

I love him, but the old non-answer answer, the way he started the answer, I definitely

understand the question.
