How's it going Matt?

I'm busy cutting my timepiece speed in half so we can talk about all of the things

and still technically be inside our magical Imperial Hour.

That's right here at Mist Apex Podcast, we never break an hour, but we do always have time for hot takes

and my hot take for this race map is that F1 is brilliant.

And you know when you build up to something for so long it can't, it can't possibly match your expectations.

Before the race started, I was so excited, no way could it live up to anything I wanted from F1,

but it absolutely delivered.

F1 is blinking brilliant, isn't it?

It absolutely is and what was lovely is all along the way.

All the signs pointed to exactly the outcome we saw today.

It looked like it was going to be close, nobody knew what was really going to happen,

it could swing either way.

And yet all along we heard, oh, tricks up sleeves, this, that, the other.

But man, when it was on track and it mattered, ah, what a race.

And let's make no mistake here, Matt, as we talk about the way the race unfolded.

We have witnessed, I think, one of the best ever races in the history of Formula One

with two of the greatest talents that Motorsport and particularly Formula One has ever seen.

Yeah, I absolutely agree they had the tools, they had the equipment.
