Today the killing of the ISIS leader al-Baggdaddy is this Donald Trump's movie moment?

So it was one twenty three on Sunday morning, the 27th of October, and I know because I was doing what they

tell you not to when you can't sleep and I was scrolling through Twitter. And real Donald

Trump posts, something very big has just happened.

And that's how it started.

Last night the United States brought the world's number one terrorist leader to justice.

Abu, Bakar al-Baggotti is dead.

A few hours later he held a press conference

to tell us all about the moment when US Special Forces finally tracked down the leader of the most feared and brutal terrorist organization, ISIS.

The Islamic State, as Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi called it.

Now there'd been reports of al-Bagdadi's death several times in the past.

This time it seems to be true.

It's a huge moment for all those touched by his murderous ideology,

whether in Iraq or Syria or closer to home, Paris, Brussels, London, Manchester.

It's also, in a different way, a very big moment for Donald Trump, for his presidency,

for his political future.

It's a tale that plays out like a movie, an all-American story of heroism, and as

the BBC's North America editor John Soapel watched that press conference, he saw a president beginning to fold himself into that movie script.
