Yo! Welcome into the House of L podcast. I am Lauren Thompson. It's a good weekend, right?

Because the Bears won? I mean, they didn't just win. They pretty much malled the

Raiders. Jalen Johnson with his best statistical day. I actually didn't think until

the fourth quarter. He was playing great. He had a couple of penalties against him.

But, you know, that's why they play four quarters. The Raiders thought they were

playing five quarters. But the Bears win and the beginning of the Tyson

Baygent experiment has begun. This is about the type of game plan that I would

want if I were a young quarterback and I expect from a young quarterback. This

is exactly what it should look like. We're going to try and make things easy. We're

going to go out there in 22 personnel and we are going to try to win this game

with hard running and we're going to try to win this game with easy passes. We're

not going to put our quarter back in a bad space. We're going to shore up our

screen game. We're going to run the ball and hopefully play good defense behind

it. And that's exactly what the Bears did. Honestly, like, forget about the statistics.

Because as far as like what you think of what Baygent can be as a prospect, you don't

have a lot of help there. If you're like, oh, he's going to be really good. My feeling

going into the game is pretty simple. The way that I'm looking at it is like this.

I hope past tense that Baygent would play well enough in the time that he's allotted

to play football to make a career for himself. I am not looking at him being the answer.

For the Bears at the quarterback position. And I don't think that you should either. I

think that's a good way to get your heart broken is to do that. I am willing to be wild by him.
