Hello and welcome to another badass podcast from the Bald Booth Network, the most badass podcast

network there is. We are reconvening the Council of Badasses for this summer July 2022 badass season.

Your first clue might have been some internal promotion, it might have been a tweet,

it might have been the commando feed or arriving raw wreath in 4th July smoke in your podcast feed,

but it's back. Jim, what is this bad? Let's let's bring it back to the beginning.

For everybody that's new from last year, what is this thing with bad asses? What is our obsession?

What's the deal here? You got to go way back. You got to go back to the 80s if you want the

true beginning of the story, because that's when bad ass was the most badass it's ever been.

Now you've got this refined badass. Badass was raw in the 80s. That's the way I feel about it,

but now it's refined. It's something that is enjoyable on its own, but it's not quite the same.

You and I used to live together and we watched a lot of bad ass movies.

Commando, which is the podcast that's already out, predator, a lot of Arnold, a lot of Stallone,

a lot of mid 80s to mid 90s stuff. We thought, you know what? There are apex predators in the

badass ecosystem of which Arnold and Stallone are probably near the top. What if we were able to

quantify somehow and qualify somehow the art of being a bad ass down into a system. So we came
