From one house to the next. Since 2006 my family and I have relocated to two different cities.

The main thing that all these moves had in common, each house we moved into had this heavy

negative energy.

I can't even put the correct words together to describe it.

I always thought it might have been because of the family drama, bad experiences, but I never

let myself think too much of it, mainly because I got used to it.

Let's start with the first home from 2006 to 2011.

I didn't have my own room in this house.

Because of this, I slept on the floor by my parents bed. When I laid down I could see out the

bedroom door into the hallway and at my brother's bedroom. I was able to see my

brother's bed by simply looking over to the door.

One night I woke up randomly.

I kept tossing and turning, trying to go back to sleep.

Strangely, after waking up, I didn't feel tired. I didn't even feel the need to sleep. After

multiple failed attempts, I simply ended up on my back facing the bedroom door.

I opened up my eyes while trying to settle back in. I glanced

over at the bedroom door. Outside of the door, I saw a man, maybe in his later 20s, and he was staring down at me.

As my heart rate slowly increased, I kept telling myself that it might be all in my head,

or it was my brother.

But when I looked over again, I saw my brother sleeping on his bed.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds, then opened them again.

That thing was still staring down at me.
