We have Aenot Wilf. She's a political scientist. She's a

former Israeli politician. Co-author of the War of Return, how Western

indulgence of the Palestinian Dream has obstructed the path to peace and she comes highly

recommended from all of my Israelofiles. Dr. Wilf thank you for coming on board. My pleasure, thank you. Why don't we just sort of start with a level setting question? Where do you see things right now?

Where do I see things right now?

In truth, a very dark place. I'm not sure it's a great place to start your show, but I study the history of the Jewish people of Zionism, of anti-Zionism and I feel that something dark has been

unleashed globally there is a sense of closing in there is a sense of closing in.

There is a sense that views that used to be at the margins have made it to the mainstream.

And because I study history I look at all of this with sheer dread because if you look at the history of anti-Zionism, if you look, which always claimed to have nothing against Jews to be you know really loving Jews and yet for the last century and more wherever

anti-Zionism became defined as the ideology of a society, whether in the Arab world, whether in the Soviet Union,

the fate of the Jews was not good, the fate of those societies was not good either.

So I watch with sheer horror how this goes global and yes and I'm deeply concerned.
