No, absolutely. I mean when I first moved into this place it was kind of googling around to how to get started with an orchard and it was your original videos from Dave Wilson nursery talking about that whole philosophy of backyard orchard culture, but I'm kind of curious for you, how did this all begin?

Well, I've been in this pretty much all of my adult life and even as a teenager.

I started in the early 1970s, you know, working for a small in-town

retail nursery. I had an opportunity to go to work later on with Armstrong nurseries in Ontario, California at the time they had a huge wholesale fruit tree and rose program that they were growing and selling retail and other wholesalers.

So I got to work with some early hybridizers and you know horticulturalist in

production on growing that type of material.

In 1981 I had an opportunity to go to work with Laverne nursery.

They're Southern California staple. They've been growing citrus avocados tropical fruits subtropical fruits for many many years

So I worked for them from 81 to 2001 and then this opportunity came along with Dave Wilson

Nursery to become their southwestern sales manager and as much as I love production

as much as I love hybridizing, I've always found that sales was where I really wanted to end up.

So this has been a great position, it's been a dream job. I'm still aggressively working with

them today and selling fruit trees, shade trees, nut trees, all over the southwestern United States.
